Torq

Torq is really unique. Their bikes track your wattage, RPM, kms, time and Kcals. 45 mins of really intense resistance to your own beat. They also email you're numbers after wards.

If you're a gym person, Torq is the spin studio for you.

6ix Cycle

What a dope studio.

I left feeling proud to be a Torontonian. The studio was packed with bikes facing inwards to the instructor, the lights were really dim with neon ambiance lighting and the instructor never left the bike. You could relate a spin class at 6ix to a concert- all on the same beat and there intentionally.

6ix's vibe was really authentic. I had the pleasure of talking to my instructor and the owner of the studio and I'm so glad I did. Very inspiring boss ladies, I left feeling inspired.

If you're looking for the perks of going out without the beauty prep time, money and empty calories, hit up 6ix cycle.

Toronto spin tour

yo yo yo

In the past few month I've grown to lalalalove taking spin classes. there is something about riding a bike to no where for 45 minutes that excites me. I find myself in SoulCycle on King twice a week, easy.

But I've hit a plateau!? I'm not as strong on the double time in third as I'd like to be and I have yet to try an arm series with 5lbs (ahhhhh) however, spin doesn't make me sore anymore. I've done 2 in a row and lived to tell the tale. So I got to thinking for a solution

Long story short, I spent hours researching Toronto spin scene and the idea hit me to try them all. I narrowed it down to 8 studios, 1 being Soul so 7 Toronto studios, and created a 7 day spin initiative to visit all of the studios in a week.
